Tools and Resources (communication tools, referring)
Sharing our challenges and experiences with our peer group is a powerful way to normalise our feelings; it can be great for our mental health.
However, someone may share something that indicates they need more support, as we all do sometimes.
We encourage you to refer them to the support pathways available on our Dads Group website's 'get support' tab: https://www.dadsgroup.org/getsupport-dgsupport.
This page will provide links to various free services offering the needed support. Notably, 'Talked', one of our Dads Group partners, offers one free, no-commitment online therapy session fast. As a leader, you must clearly understand what pathways are listed, so you are responsible for keeping current on the 'Get Support' page.
